Happy life with cp: What is cerebral palsy
Happy life with cp: What is cerebral palsy
Our daughter has cerebral palsy and she is 21 years old now. As a family we are passionate about her condition and we are constantly helping her to live a better life. She is unable to use her hands properly but presently she is learning how to type using assistive computer technology. She is doing fine and her ambition is to become a teacher. She is strong willed and one day she will get there.

Poor Handwriting
I have 20 year old daughter with cerebral palsy (CP). Her name is Christabel. She has delayed in her education because of CP. She is not able to write properly. She did her grade 7 examinations last year and she passed. She was assisted with writing while she was answering the questions in the presence of an independent invigilator.
The challenge now (Grade 8) is that she should write on her own. She has pulled out of the public school and now we are doing home schooling. We are teaching my daughter how to write and it is slow and time consuming. I want readers to share their experiences and how they have managed this kind of problem.
